Flag American football is an exciting and safe way for home educated children to engage in physical activity, develop teamwork skills, and have fun!
At Kent Phoenix AFC, we understand that there are lots of reasons why children are home educated and that is why we take a holistic approach to our home education training sessions. We prioritise the mental health and wellbeing of our members, and their families, as highly as their physical health. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive club who are keen to see every player thrive, regardless of their athletic ability.
Our home educators training session was established after one of our parents, who home educates her own children, highlighted the gap for a sports club where local home educated children could come and feel part of a team. After very little persuasion, the Kent Phoenix Home Educators training sessions were established!
With this insight, we are proud to understand the delights and challenges that home education can bring and offer a bespoke training session tailored to their individual needs.
