In order to play kitted (contact) American Football in the UK, all players and coaches must have their own registration with the British American Football Association.

This page provides brief instructions on how to get registered with BAFA. Scroll down for a step-by-step guide.

How to create a profile

Following these steps will create a basic profile with JustGo.

1. Visit the BAFA registration website at https://bafa.justgo.com/.
2. On the homepage (pictured above), under the ‘New Member’ heading, click “Sign up”
3. On the next page, fill in your name and other key personal information and contact details then click the yellow “Sign up” button at the bottom.
4. On the next page, choose your preferences for receiving BAFA communications and then read the privacy notice. At the bottom of the page, click the green “Accept and Continue” button.

Once you have created a profile, you should have a page that looks something like the screenshot (pictured below).

How to add a membership with the Phoenix

You will then need to register with the Kent Phoenix as a particular team and register for a particular age group. Following these steps will associate your profile with the Phoenix as a club.

1. From your JustGo BAFA profile, click on SELECT CLUB
2. From the resulting map and search box, search for “Kent Phoenix”
3. Click on SELECT CLUB. Make sure you choose the right team as it locks in once you have selected.
4. It should take you back to the profile page but now with the Phoenix associated to your account.
5. The final step is to buy your BAFA membership. This is an annual fee. In your profile, click on the BAFA Membership tab. Then choose the right category for your age – either as an “Under 16 Contact Member” or an “Under 19 Contact Member”.
6. You will then be taken to the payment page (see below). Please check that all your details are correct and the correct fee has been applied. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the payment.

The Kent Phoenix will be notified once your registration is complete.
