The Kent Phoenix is seeking a new Head Coach for its under 19 squad in 2027. We are looking for a dedicated leader to lead a new coaching team and drive the further development of our successful under 19 squad following the retirement of Coach Ray and Coach Lee at the end of the 2026 season.
The u19s are 19-1 over the last two seasons and won the National Championship in Division Two this year. We are hoping to find a new Head Coach who will be able to lead us into Division One in 2027.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced coach with a BAFCA Qualification (Level 2 preferred). We will consider applications from Level 1 coaches who want to work on moving to Level 2, or retiring players who are going to work on achieving their BAFCA qualifications. We will help with financial support towards your training.
The new Head Coach will need good communication, organisation and team-building skills with demonstrable experience of coaching or playing American Football, and working with children and young people.
